    Degree of commitment

Ellison’s tuition is now being covered by the Bills, even though Banker said the OSU athletic department will pay for any player to who wants to come back to school and finish his degree.
    Nice to see...

Great thing that he's getting his degree, but I think he can afford the tuition himself.

It's great that the Bills care about their players like that.

It would be more impressive if the Bills or OSU would pay for the education of someone who is truly financially needy.

                              Re: Degree of commitment

Not that I am unhappy Ellison is getting his degree, but if Buffalo has limited money to spend on such things, I'd rather they put it toward pension benefits for players who are now in the poor house because they played for peanuts back in the old days. Ellison can afford tuition even if he is on a low level salary for the NFL.
I've made up my mind. Don't confuse me with the facts.

I'm the most reasonable poster here. If you don't agree, I'll be forced to have a hissy fit.
