“They’re glad they don’t have to play against me and that I’m on their side now,” Welker said. “And I was tired of losing to them, so it’s nice to join the team that was winning the games.”

well I believe we were 3-3 since he had been on the team. Oh well, I don't think he was meaning it as a "diss." I still wish him well, just not when the Dolphins face them.

Not as bad as what Willis is saying about Buffalo.

You hate it when McGahee does it, but when Welker does it's alright? Right.

I don't care what Welker says. I encourage smack talk, even though that was barely any smack.

true. But Willis is an ******* and has always been a punk ass! Welker has been a good guy as long as he has been the league. He's one of my favorite non-Bills.

I don't see him dissing the Dolphins at all in what he said.

He can keep talking and he will regret it. He has been one of my favorite Fins the last couple years but if he keeps talking I will lose respect for him completely

Might not be blatant, but this sounds like a diss to me: "so it’s nice to join the team that was winning the games"

Translation: Miami sucks and the Pats don't.

I didn't like him on the fins... and I certainly won't like seeing him in a Patsie uniform. :( Why couldn't he go to the NFC, so I could enjoy watching him play? :(

Average player at best - but from lurking on finheaven the last few years you'd think he was the next Jerry Rice.

Regardless getting away from Mularkey and Miami is the best thing for his career.

Who is Wes Welker?
a cut undrafted free agent that was able to do a lot of hard work go to the Pats, get a very big payday, leaving his former team with a 2nd & 7th round pick in compensation. Not terribly shabby.
