Could you choose one of the two?

I too am going weirdo - Ted Ginn Jr.

WR is a legit need, I could totally see it as well. I just think Landry being there is almost to good to be true for the birds.

He and Deangelo Hall should make that secondary lethal.

Why did the Vikings pick Anderson with 2 former 1sts already at the position. But, w/e I guess Landry is the pick here too.

They just signed Joe Horn for the short term solution at WR. So I am gonna go with Landry.
The Falcons can grab a WR in the later rounds. There are plenty of them available

Good question. Maybe Troy "Busta" Williamson is poised for a "breakout" season.

not happening.....Udeze and James both suck by the way so both positions were of need it all depends on which they believe is bigger and looking back on it i believe it is WR but they should trade down or up if they are going to draft one

Landry... would be great if they took Lynch, though. that would give Willis a better chance of sliding to us. Still, Landry.

Falcons will likely choose Landry to improve that defense and hope to be a strong playoff contender this year...

I have always been appalled at the mediocrity of their receivers (though Vick isnt even a real QB), so I'll say Ginn.

As for the Minnesotta DE's "sucking":

Erasmus James had 4 sacks in 05 while playing in only 10 games, and he only played in 1 game in 06 due to an injury. He really began to show good things near the end of 05.

Kenechi Udeze had a putrid 06, after missing almost all of 05 with an injury. However in 04 Udeze had 5 sacks as a rookie.

Teamed together (which these two havent really been yet) they should combine to be a good DE tandem. To give up on either now is a very stupid decision to make.

So one bad year, playing oppositte a rookie for Udeze (after coming back from a serious injury) and he's out the door? A former 1st round pick (#18 overall) and you just want to throw him away? Here is a novel idea, lets allow for our two first round picks to play together and see what happens for one year. Im glad you are not the gm of this team.

With the 8th pick, the Atlanta Falcons select LaRon Landry, safety from Louisiana State University.
