Couldn't agree with him more.. With some of the veterans leaving this offseason the QB and the teams best player(Evans) should have no trouble taking over the leadership reins of the team.

its amazing the amount of maturity he's showing. he's really proving that he can be the leader of this football team and he knows it. he knows that this is his season to step his game up and prove that he can be a star in this league.

I hope he becomes more than just an average starter and i believe he can do it too. this is his year.

did he actually refer to himself in his most "the answer"ish third person way there?? either way i like what he said.. totally what i need to hear from someone taking lead of this team.

Yes.. lol he referred to himself in the 3rd person.... Just like "Jimmy" would in that one classic Seinfeld episode
