Sounds like the Bills will be getting more than a late round draft choice after all.

Let's hope that Holcomb stays put - we need the wily vet for insurance in case Losman goes down.

What does Holcomb bring to the table for the Eagles that AJ Feeley doesn't?

What does Holcomb bring to the table for the Eagles that AJ Feeley already doesn't?

Don't care as long as it helps us get a better deal!

I don't care if Holcombe leaves. Nall has been in the system for a year. We can draft a late rounder or UDFA and plug him to a 3rd string QB.

Craig Nall will be fine as a backup and then pickup a QB late in the draft to groom. I would have no problems with this.

I guess it's a good thing this is a message board then, as opposed to hearing people like that in person.

at this point in time, Digorgio is more proven than Nall. So what's with all the crying from the whiners?

If it brings a player and/or better draft picks than the deal that was 'reported' earlier, I'm all for it.

Hell, I don't mind giving up an eight-track tape player that doesn't work anymore to sell a car for what I want to get out of it.

Darwin Walker? Hopefully.

Marv gave Nall 1.3 mill just to sign his name on the line.

IN Marv we trust. Nall shoudl automatically be the #2 this year.

Hey, I wouldn't call them whiners, people just have differing opinions and that is fine, that's what this board is for.

Two points:

1) How ironic is it that Spikes, who wanted Holcomb as the starter, and Holcomb himself, could be leaving together. Isn't that just precious. They can continue their lovefest together.

2) Who gets the pack of gum that Philly is giving up for him.

If you want a "wily vet" like Holcomb for insurance, I suggest you call Allstate.

Has Spikes ever played in a playoff game? I can see why he'd be inclined to play for Philly.

I like this deal. It solves two problems: 1) we get a damn good DT that knows how to penetrate a line and 2) we rid ourselves early of an ailing and aging LB that we wouldn't get anything from next season.
