I don't know if Eagles fans have more brains than Ravens fans or what, but the comments I have been reading seem to be in consensus that it was a fair trade for both teams. Most seem to realize that Spikes is probably in decline, but is an upgrade. The Bills get a pass rushing DT and save some green.

You dont normally see player for player trades anymore. I would love to think TKO had more value but we filled a big need.I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?"

It was all true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach.
He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.

Marv has come thru yet again. Darwin Walker is definitely going to help our DL, and of course we'll get a conditional draft pick in 2008 to boot.
I think this is a very fair deal for both teams. Spikes does have some great play left in him, and Philly fans are getting a player I wish could've been part of a Bills in 2007.
Overall if we lost Spikes I'm really happy we got a very good return.
