All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
What would make most sense to me (although it probably isn't going to happen just because it makes sense) is that the Bills go RB/LB in the first 2 rounds. My question is would you rather go:
Option A:
1st round - P. Willis
2nd Round - A. Pittman
or
Option B:
1st round - M. Lynch
2nd round - B. Siler
I take 'A'. There is no MLB comparable to Willis right now. Running backs are a dime a dozen, Lynch may have back problems, and we should likely want to get a franchise back next year where the quality is an order of magnitude better. Our Oline has improved which should mean even an average back can do okay. There are some decent lower prospects like Pittman or even Irons that we could grab and that would do decently well until we obtain our franchise back next year (and the draft pick drops down to backup).
MLB is extremely important in a Cover 2 defense, and we may not get another chance at such an outstanding stud like Patrick Willis after this year.
