All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
There is work to be done and things to be learned. We are going to try to get the old look back - or something close to it. We also know there are bugs. A thread will be started to report bugs and then we can pass those onto the host.
Thank you for all the patience and support with this - hopefully this will greatly reduce the crashes and other site issues we have had lately.
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

i was wondering what you guys thought about gettin jackie battle with one of our 3rd round pics. he had a great pro day....4.42 in the 40, 41'' vertical jump...10'11'' broad jump...a lot of explosion and the guy is 6'2'' 235....looking at his pro day he doesnt seem like he has a problem catching the ball coming out of the back field....
I like him, i read up on him after Chris Brown mentioned him in his blog on Buffalobills.com, he seems to have alot of athletism, and speed for his size, just hope he doesnt turn out to be like our last RB from Houston, Antwan Smith, other than that i would have no problem with using one of our 3rds on this guy

I'd be okay with him winning a couple super bowls, if that's what you meant..

Jackie Battle was on a crusade to prove to NFL scouts that he could be a running back in the league. The NFL thought otherwise, insisting the Battleship's 6-2, 245-pound frame made him a fullback, a bulldozer for the fast guys.
Well, on Friday Battle proved he was one of the fast guys. Battle, who was estimated by NFL scouts to be a 4.6 or 4.7 guy, ran a 4.42 and a 4.43 (one scout had him at 4.35), which made everyone sit up and take notice. And what they noticed was one of the year's best Pro Day performances.
"Yeah, I had a pretty good day," Battle said. "From what I've been told, pretty much every drill I did I was the best running back they had seen. I had the highest vertical jump (41 inches), the best long jump (10 feet, 11 inches), one of the best three-cone times (6.51 seconds) and the best 60-yard shuttle time (10.79 seconds). Yeah, it was a good day.
"The wierd part is that after all this, none of the scouts really talked to me, so I couldn't tell you what they thought. But I talked to some of the media who heard from the scouts, and they told me that they (the scouts) were saying that it was the most impressive Pro Day they've seen and that I might have worked my way into a first-day pick. That's what I was told."
