Dwayne Jarrett did nothing to improve his draft position after running a some what average 4.67 then a 4.62 during his workout today at USC....

He in my opinon will not be a Top Ten pick after today's workout..

since the combine he hasnt been a top ten pick. ive seen him fall down into the mid 20's in alot of mock drafts. but who knows in the league.

I would think Dallas wouldn't mind getting him at 22. Maybe the Giants at 20. I cant see him going any higher than GB at 16.

Any chance he falls into the 2nd round? 4.6+ is pretty damn slow for todays NFL WR.

He would be a nice redzone receiver

Look at what happened in last year's draft: it may have been simply because of team needs, but the best wide receivers were taken pretty late. With the exception of CJ, who is as close to a gaurantee to being at least a good player (IMO) as there is out there, I think the receivers will be lower on teams charts again this year. I am excited at the probability of being able to get either Bowe, Gonzalez or Rice in the 2nd.

4.6 is really really slow.

he cant outrun a linebacker.

that is pretty gay.

people said josh reed was slow coming out of college...he "slipped" to us at the top of the second round...shows what the experts know.

Someone please make sure Leon Hall knows he was slaughtered by a 4.6 WR

that is definately why hall should not be drafted by the bills.

40-times aren't everything. I realize speed is a big component for a WR, but if a guy is skilled enough at running routes he can play faster than he times.

Case in point: Jerry Rice ran 4.6+ prior to the draft.

Or, Anquan Boldin running 4.7+, thus dropping to Arizona in the 2nd round.

I don't know if Jarrett falls into the same category, but he sure was a productive college player. I think teams will consider the tape on him as much as his times. Ultimately, I think Jarrett's success or failure will have more to do with his maturity than his raw speed.

Dallas will be drafting Defense this year. Count on it, people here seem to think the Cowboys have a SB caliber Offense but no Defense.

Word is they are going Safety.

just found out he ran his 40 on grass too so it is slower

he also had a 4.2 shuttle which is 4 tenths faster than marshawn lynch and a 10 foot 1 inch broad jump so those accually are really impressive

Jarrett may have a little too much hot dog in him to be a Bills type of pick. I doubt we'd consider him, with WR's showing everywhere within the first 3-4 rounds.

yeah the Giants will take a WR in the 1st... NOT. You have any idea how many other holes they need filling? WR is their last priority. Look at who they currently have.
