Until today, I truly believed the Bills would pass on Lynch in the 1st, but after reading Jauron's comments in the Buffalo News...I'm not so sure. He stated that the offense needs to do more to keep the defense off the field and score more points and that would be how the defense gets better. Well, those comments make me believe we draft Lynch at #12 or Peterson if he somehow falls to us. This will make our offense much more productive and use that OL talent to it's fullest potential. Then we pick up a LB in round 2 because their is more depth at the LB position in the draft than their is at the RB position. I guess we will see.
My best guess at what the Bills do at #12

But if we’re developing a little slower on defense, then we’ll really need our offense to be productive, and our special teams can’t take a step back. There’s a lot of pressure on everybody.”
That seemed to me like they are intent on improving the offense to improve the defense. Not saying it will happen, but it sure sounded that way.

Since the McGahee trade, I figured there's a better than even chance Buffalo goes with Lynch in round one, or Peterson if he does fall.I've made up my mind. Don't confuse me with the facts.
I'm the most reasonable poster here. If you don't agree, I'll be forced to have a hissy fit.

Listening to Marv's press conference I remember my first thoughts were:
1. Willis? Willis who?
2. Holcomb might be gone and a late pick would be used on a QB.
3. The Bills would spend big money on one or two FA's, most likely on the O-line.
4. The Bills would draft a LB early.Originally posted by mysticsotoLecter is right in everything he said.

i agree thats what id think from that article.. and i agree with the depth at lb we def can still get a quality lb from the second round. there arent many good rb prospects this year and we've been generally weak the past few years more at rb than we have at lb. i love willis as a lb but i agree with scumbag (im not calling u one, thats jus ur name haha) that even with him we still prolly wont be heaps better. plus no matter how we do it we're still going to be young at both positions and i really think lynch could do a wonferful job of making times easier for us. thats jus my take

I can tell you this.
I got a buddy in California who does stuff with Fox, his name is "Norcal".. He's a huge Raiders guy and he's a big time west coast college football guy. Sure as hell knows more about college ball and stuff like that than me.
Anyway, he told me pretty much EVERY mock in America is already wrong, because there is no way Lynch is lasting 16 to GB.
He told me he doesnt know why Bills fans are sweating so much about AP (he also said AP would be gone by pick 8-Atlanta if not to Minny or Cleve first)-- And that Marshawn Lynch is somewhere in between a Laurence Maroney and Stephen Jackson-- and that's he's "going to be the ****".

KFFL is reporting the Bills are looking at Robert Meachem, WR Tennessee. Bringing him into Buffalo and had private interview on his Pro Day.
Some teams have called my phone—like the Minnesota Vikings—and I told my agent to try and get in touch with them. I know they and the St. Louis Rams want to schedule a visit on April 11-12. The Miami Dolphins and Buffalo Bills have also contacted me over the phone, asking me questions like what I'm going to do at the Pro Day. Everybody says they already know I'm fast…I don't think I'm going to run the 40 again, but it depends on how I feel when I get there.

Re: My best guess at what the Bills do at #12
No clue..
I"m telling you that if anything he thinks he'll be a "reach" rather than someone who slides.
WHitner and McCargo went earlier than pretty much everybody expected.. He said expect the same with Lynch; that he won't last til 16.
Who knows.. It wouldn't surprise me if Buffalo took at him 12, and I wouldn't be unhappy about it at all. We arent going to win with A-Train running 18-22 times per game.
