Carolina is looking more and more like they won't qualify for the playoffs and Edmonton is out. Anyone know when the last time, or if it ever happened before?

How about when there was actually a season after both teams made the cup finals.

I think he met *BOTH teams that went to the finals..

which has never happened :

BOth Teams that Made it to the Finals NOT qualify for the post season the following year.
