holcomb was a solid BACKUP qb, nothing better and thats all he ever will be.

yea sure he's intelligent, but he has no arm. then he gets flustered and throws to the backs for a one or two yard completion.

in a west coast offense he might me a serviceable stopgap starter much like he was for the bills but thats it. nothing more.

but only his second in this offense with these recievers and OL. so no matter what it would have been ALMOST starting over.

yea he'd get game experience but if we saw him anymore when he was playing like that we might have kicked him out if buffalo before the lavy regime stepped in.

He kept JP from getting a full seasons experience a year ealier so he kinda set JP back abit that's what he did for us.

More like a thank you JP thread needs to be started for having such a good attitude about him being ****ed around with that season having to play with eyes in the back of his head. But what doesnt kill you only makes you stronger, and I think it will make JP appreciate the opportunity more and be a better person and player out of that situation.
