Stafford could be a lot better then Pominville with his talent level.. Which is great because Pommer is great himself!

I think Stafford could be our "replacement" for Timmy C...... given alittle time to develope he could become that type of a player for this team.....

Sabres don't have any scouts anymore. They let them all leave.

Or at least they let some of them leave. Don Luce was the head of scouting I believe and now he is in Philly.

Last year they changed the way they scout also...they do it by video instead of visiting players in person. I'm scared of the people they lost.

yup, they decided to save money by getting rid of the scouting and it may have been the dumbest thing ever. Our scouting was what got the Sabres where they are now. :sigh:

I heard that a lot of teams are doing this now. There are 2 many foreign teams to visit. Once they look at the videos then they send some one for further evaluation.
