Who wears number 55? And what does the player who doesn't end up wearing 55 wear? Just for S's and G's...

Crowell wears 55 now. I'd say let Briggs offer him a cash amount for it.

Umm, until the Bills even officially make an offer, I think it's kind of a moot point.

to hell with Briggs what did he do in the Super Bowl, NOTHING he has benefited from a surrounding cast

he's still better than anyone we have on our roster.

You shouldn't judge players based on Super Bowls alone. There was a guy who wore #12 that played great football for us but sucked in the SB.

He led the Bears in tackles in the Super Bowl. He had 13 tackles, 11 solo. That is better than Urlacher, who had 10 tackles, 7 solo.

Don't get excited about that - if I'd been the Colts OC, I'd have kept away from Urlacher as must as possible even if I ran more towards Briggs

Crowell isn't Urlacher, so I wouldn't expect Buffalo Briggs to be the same as Chicago Briggs.

I'm not sure how you run away from Urlacher considering he plays in the middle.

That said, even if they targeted Briggs, he made a fair share of plays.

It amazes me how many of you people overrate draft picks. I can understand not wanting to mortgage your future, but Briggs is one of he best LB in the NFL and he is still young. Meanwhile, 90% of the players in this draft are going to be nothing better than JAGs. There may be a half dozen guys in any draft that end up being as good as Briggs is now, at any position.
