Oh no.

I would rather let Stamer start for us.

welllll i messed up spelling donnie. its one of those days.

as a backup sure, he'd be fine for depth. but marv better not be looking at this guy as a starter.

Of course Spragan won't be a starter. Just depth.

we're hurting at LB right now, depth wise, and he would be able to help us in a pinch.

I haven't followed his career, but his record at NFL.com is undistinguished. I might offer him a vet minumum contract and let him compete to backup, but that's as far as I'd go.

Get him on the roster, fine.

But I hope Marv's concentration is on Briggs and or Turner

The read on him when he played for us was that he made very few mistakes. Didn't make many high impact plays or do anything really special...... But just didn't screw up and give up the big play. Kinda solid but unspectacular.

Spragan's a body for camp

agreed- this is nothing more than a depth/body for camp signing. But it's at least even money that he's better than Stamer and Haggan and he's better than Wire, so it can't hurt to bring him in and let him compete for a spot
