Northern Illinois... tough to draw any conclusions from that. Doesn't hurt to see, though.

School doesn't mean that much to me, Rice, Reed came from small schools. The school hurt his draft status but maybe we made the wrong choice in 2003 by drafting willis at 23

1 out of 10 has lived up to the hype so far. How many of those guys aren't even in the league anymore?

Check that, 2 have lived up to the hype. I didn't see Jackson's name there.

Just noticed Troy Davis... remember him? That guy put up crazy numbers that year. Two and three hundred yard games. It was disgusting. He's probably selling insurance these days!

School should mean something to you. Level of competition is key when talking about stats. I agree that a great player can come from anywhere, but your linking stats to a great player and skipping level of competition.

                It does matter

Not four years later when the player has shown he can play on the NFL level.

He's been in the CFL since 2001.

He was too small for the NFL. He was like 5'7" 190 lbs.
