Isn't there some kind of deadline for Restricted FAs?

I swore that I read somewhere that Michael Turner has to be signed to a deal by April 20th or he stays with the Chargers. Does that mean that they can't trade him? Or would they still do the sign and trade?

The deadline is April 20th. That leaves the dealine for teams to match offers as April 27th, the day before the draft.

It is that way every year, the RFA period runs until a week before the draft.

He can still be traded after the draft, but he has to sign his tender first.

okay, so he won't be able to be signed to an offer sheet by the Titans or anyone else after April 20th....but the Chargers could still do the sign and trade at any time? Thanks man!
