I just can't see that happening, but if we draft willis and Lynch drops trade right back up in the first round.

Yeah, Kirwan is crazy. With all the teams reportedly interested in RBs this season, that instantly brings Lynch's value up into the 1st round.

I'm not going to say it won't happen because I've seen some crazy things on draft day, but this would be very very surprising if it actually happened.

I totally agree with camel. If Lynch starts to drop that much they need to trade back into the first to get him.

A first round of Lynch and Willis? That would be amazing.

There is always 1 mad run at one position every year where players tend to start being plucked higher then their anticipated value because of the lack of talent of that position combined with the amount of job openings blossoming around the league.

I see the RB position acheiving this scenerio this draft. I think we will see 3 back plucked from the 1st forcing others to scrape the barrel through the rest of the draft.

the only concievable way it could possibly happen is if Brown and Turner signed with Tenn and GB before the draft, whichever with whom.

Not going to to happen (Lynch dropping out)

If by some miracle it did.. marv would need to trade into later 1st round like last year to get him quickly.

You never know. Clinton Portis fell to the second round a few years ago, and that left many teams kicking themselves. This could be the same scenario.

Don't be surprised if Buffalo tries to move down a few spots and save some money with its pick. For example, Carolina could jump up two spots and take Willis while Buffalo drops down for Penn State's Paul Posluszny.

Guys unexpectedly drop out of the first round, close to or during the draft, quite often. We have a few examples on the Bills: Youbouty was often a 1st in some mocks last year. Many mocks had Kelsey going to Buffalo in the first, the year WM was drafted, then TD scooped him up in the 2nd. Even Thurman slipped because of injury concerns.

I find it hard to believe the Pats are going to take a C in the first. Not for nothing, but they gave good money to Dan Koppen to start and have their top 8 OL locked up for at least 3 years.

I might see them taking an OT if there was value in the pick, but they have far greater needs than C.

I think Kirwan does as good a job with his mock as he did for GM of the Jets when Rich Kotite was the coach.

Where is that lispy bastard Mike Mehock?

His mocks are usually pretty close.
