now thats what im talkin about

barlow in a platoon would be great. and having flamed out as a featured guy hed be reasonably priced

atrain as the pb and barlow as the finesse plus a first day rb pick and they are set and solid and cheap

What a shock!

Yet another 2nd rate scrub that the front office is looking at as a starting RB option.

its so obvious most of you guys live in fantasy football land. if a guy didnt get you a bunch of pts last year you dont want him

wake up and smell real life. it dont work that way on the field. i love the way the bills are approaching this whole thing. while you guys are wailing and gnashing your teeth the bills will be drafting quality guys and supplimenting them with reasonable free agents

check back with me around mid-season for your customary :rockout: *****es

If that's the mentality then let's bring in Troy Hambrick, Travis Minor, and JJ Arrington.

This is AWESOME news.

The Bills are going to sign C. Brown, D. Davis, and now Barlow to go along with S. Williams and A-Train. Only 11 more RBs to sign and we have our starting RBs for every game next year.

What happened to only bringing in high-character guys?

Barlow has a reputation as an A-hole, not to mention that he turned into a complete dog when SF signed him to a new contract and he got his money.

Forget Barlow. Is there still a FA bruiser out there? We need a big boy to get us those 3rd and 1 yards. Lynch/A-train/BigBoy would be awesome.

Let's give Oakland our 6th for Zack Crockett.

Pretty much obvious now..

No turner.. no peterson. no lynch..

we'll go with a scrub RB by committee.

Here is the article:

Sounds like Agent-speak.

Barlow's agent, Doug Hendrickson, said Monday he had preliminary talks with the Packers on Friday at the University of Michigan's pro day workout. The odds are long Barlow will sign anywhere before the draft, instead waiting to see where the top rookies land...

Hend-rickson said Buffalo, Tennessee and Indian-apolis also have inquired about Barlow, 28...

It is believed Buffalo and Detroit were close to a deal with former Tennessee Titans back Chris Brown but backed off when the price got too high. The Packers have been in contact with Brown's agent, Wynn Silberman, who did not return a message Monday afternoon.

I'd rather have Chris Brown than Barlow. At least Brown played well when healthy.

I don't even want Barlow on a committee. If he couldn't get any carries with the Jets' motley assortment of backs last year, we don't want him.

I'm starting to think that half of what we hear this time of year is just teams making s**t up so they can laugh about it over a couple of beers once it finds its way into the media...

Barlow has 0 vision. The guy couldn't find the hole if a defense walked on the field with only a safety and their waterboy.

No thank you. Even by commitee he just doesn't have what it takes to make this squad. I'd be more comfortable with A-Train trading hand-offs will Shaud Williams.

The talk last week or the week before was about Davis.

Williams is already on the Bills roster.

I think he meant "Dominick Williams."

Dominick Davis changed his name recently, within the past year i think, to Dominick Williams.

Are you kidding?? That man sucks, we basically pissed away a 4th round pick by trding for him. I wouldnt wish him on anyone's team, well.....maybe the Dolphins, but not the Bill's.

I hope that your FO doesnt do something stupid and sign him, you would be way better off to sign Brown or Turner, they would compliment JP better, Barlow is not a good blocking back.

I will pray that you dont get him!!

you can't really say that about the FO. We just got rid of a second rate qb,no?. Holcomb ring a bell?

Davis/Williams will be the choice ahead of Barlow. Barlow could start a fight in an empty room. He gets D- on the character scale

I agree that Brown, Turner, Dillon or just about anyone else available is a better option then Barlow. I am just not enamored with A-Train either.

Exactly. How can you get SD to come down when you are not looking at anyone else and are giving the impression that you are desperate? You have to look at other options and even consider the draft - partly to show that you will consider other options besides the high price being asked for Turner, and partly in case their FO refuses to budge and you have to go with secondary options. The Bills have to continue looking at RBs from here on 'til the draft until the position is filled either by a FA, a draft choice or a trade (likely to happen during the draft).

Stop overreacting people. This is normal!!!

the one thing that barlow can bring is a nice goaline rb, i am not saying he is the answer but if he comes relatively cheap, he would be an assett in the red zone, he is a big back and him a-train and a draft pick would not be that bad, u would definetly move the pile

Prince Mbutu - evil African dictator that I've only heard about because Chris Rock was doing his salute to great african leaders on his show on Showtime or HBO like almost a decade ago - I don't know why this guy was great though - consider the source.

First Brown, now Barlow?

What direction is this organization headed anyways?

Moves like this make me worried. You're supposed to try to improve your team, at least that's what I thought. Neither of these guys is better than A-Train.
