The Buffalo Bills have secured two partnership pacts -- one that aids the team's players and another that assists area students.
Enlyten Inc., a division of HealthSport Inc., has signed a multi-year deal with the Bills that will supply the team with sportstrips designed to replace electrolytes that athletes lose while exercising. The Bills are the first National Football League to sign a sponsorship deal with Enlyten.
"The Bills make perfect sense as our first partnership with a professional sports team," said Dan Kelly, Enlyten president. Kelly is the brother of former Bills quarterback Jim Kelly.
"With Enlyten's headquarters located here in Buffalo, we felt it was very important to establish local ties within our community," Kelly said. "As part of the NFL, the Bills brand resonates with consumers everywhere."
Enlyten will be one of the official sponsors of the Bills' training camp, and the strips will be on the training table at One Bills Drive. Enlyten will be allowed to use the Buffalo Bills' trademarked logo and marks in its advertising and marketing programs.
