All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!

Isn't scared to bang heads with the anyone which would help A-Train/ run game. Maybe we're gonna hold out til' next year for a rb?

I agree. I would love to see him here, I think taking him at 43 would be premature, and 74 may be too late though. It might require a trade for a pick (either sliding our 2nd down or our 3A up). I know most of you have checked out the highlight reel of him on youtube.com but for those who missed it, take a peek. Very interesting back who could split time in our backfield this year at either position rRB/FB.

I've seen him go as high as the 1st round, so I would definitely take him at 43. For me he's a Mike Alstott type of guy who clearly has better than average running skills, a rich man's Shawn Bryson.
I don't see him as a true FB so I would like to draft someone in the 7th who is a pure FB like Jesse Adams of Virginia Tech. We then could pair Adams as lead blocker with either Thomas or Leonard or even pair Leonard and Thomas together. And it still leaves the luxury of grabbing Ray Rice or Steve Slaton if they fell to us in 2008
Its about time he got some love around here. He will not go in the 1st round, and I doubt he'll go the first half of the 2nd. FBs and limited role RBs, no matter how good they are, don't go that high. I think he might just fall right in our lap at #74. I would love to have him, so if the feeling is that we need to trade into the 2nd to get him, so be it, but I think the odds are good that he'll be on the board when our first 3rd comes up. Pair him with A-Train and another block this year, and a smaller, evey down back next year, and our backfield will be set for years to come.
Leonard would be a solid pick in the 2nd round, if we stay put with our picks Leonard would gives us a weapon we havent had here in a while a fb/hb/h-back, with tremandous athletic ability and attitude he would be a great assest to JP and would do nothing but help this team, and yes he can block too
