i just checked stubhub. stanely cup tickets, lowest prices:

game 1 - $505
game 2 - $500
game 3 - $999
game 4 - $999

i expected the $500 range, but $999?! :jawdrop:

I half understand it- as a real fan, you'd want to be there. But at the same time, if you can give up 1-2 first or second round playoff games and pay for your tickets for the entire season the upcoming year, you'd pretty much have to do it.

That's been alot of fans strategy all year long. Remember when the games were selling out and the media thought that finally the Sabres would have home ice advantage against the Leafs (few leafs fans). Obviously that didn't happen. Season ticket holders put their seat up for sale. And that's fine. It made me laugh to see some idiot fans asking crazy money for upper deck regular season games ($200 a seat).

I am hopefully going to go to a few playoff games. I'll get my tickets from the brothers on the street. Usually cheaper.
