He also was the 3rd linebacker off the board.

first, Kiper's on crack.

Second, if he's actually right, imagine this: we swap picks with SD for Turner. Willis is still on the board at 24. We trade the 30 and a 3rd round to Seattle and end up with Turner and Willis.....

It'll never happen but one can always dream....

If Willis last till the 24 pick then in a perfect world we could trade back get extra picks and still land Willis.

I doubt Willis lasts past the #12 spot and Kiper has his head up his ass more often then not. I think last year his mock was off quite a bit, way too much for a quitessential mock drafter

That would be pretty cool. And a pick in the early 2nd for Houston maybe?

WR in the 3rd.

Great first day.

Even you and Pat would be happy.

This is no real surprise to The Answer - a lot of scouts, including The Answer, have Willis rated as a mid to late round pick to begin with - despite his stellar pro day.

Also a lot of people are comparing Willis to AJ Hawk because he has similar tendencies and tends to be overaggresive at times costing the defense in the process.

Regardless he's still an outstanding prospect and The Answer wouldn't mind him wearing a Bills uniform one bit.

I think you mean we swap 1sts with SD, then use the #30 pick from SD and one of our 3rds to trade/move up and pick Willis ahead of Seattle at 24.

I owuld be down with that perfect scenario

I love watching Kipers best available players to start the draft, last until round 5.

Or if we give them straight up 2nd and 4th for Turner we can still have both.

Once again, many professional scouts and The Answer share the same opinion.

AJ Hawk was highly touted last year - but still a bit raw and needs much fine tuning. Willis is very similar and tends to be a bit aggressive at times and it gets him into trouble.

and I'm just overanalyzing. I spent a lot of time and money in college learning how to do it so I figured I should apply it every once in a while.

AJ Hawk was highly touted last year

And Hawk proved that he could live up to the hype.

119 tackles, 3.5 sacks, 2 Int, 1 FF, 2 FR for a rookie LB? That is a heck of a year for any player, but a great year for a rookie. Hawk is on his way to being a hell of a player.

I will make my own personal "I am Justa's *****" avatar if Patrick Willis is still on the board at #16. and I'll wear a "Justa is GOD" T shirt to the Bills home opener party.

Kiper's most recent mock draft is from 3/13. A lot of things have happened in the league since then. Not that Kiper's (or any others) mock draft means a damn thing.

The Answer never claimed that Hawk wasn't on his way to a good career - but trust The Answer on this - if he don't fine tune his game eventually he'll be exposed as a liablity in coverage.

For starters.. NE has the 24th pick. Not Seattle

and if NE ends up with Wills im killing someone.

First of all, Mel Kiper is a tool who never participated in organized football at any level. I honestly don't know how the hell he got a job as a prospect analyst at ESPN, but I guess I just answered my own question.

Second, there is no frikin' way that Patrick Willis is on the board at #24.

you dont have to worry about that because there is absolutely no way Willis lasts that long. Alot of people here are worried that he wont even make it to 12.

he's a legend in his own mind. Mike Mayock of NFL Network is much better.

Why can't Mayock put another mock out there. He got 8 out of the 10 first selections right last year, including our shocker. He kicks the pants off of Kiper imo.
