Morton will stay a Jet, Coles Probably won't

Jets | More On Morton - posted at KFFL (http://nfl.kffl.com)
21:05 PT: Updating previous reports, Bob Glauber reports for Newsday a source familiar with the New York Jets situation said Monday the team has already decided to match the Redskins five-year, $8 million offer sheet to restricted free agent KR/RB Chad Morton. They will reportedly announce the decision on Thursday.

Jets | Coles Wants To Leave - posted at KFFL (http://nfl.kffl.com)
20:00 PT: According to the Washington Post, restricted free agent WR Laveranues Coles (Jets) said again on Monday he wants to leave the team. He hopes the Jets don't match the seven-year, $35 million offer sheet that he agreed to with the Washington Redskins on Sunday. Jets GM Terry Bradway hinted that his team might allow the restricted free agent to leave. Coles arrived in Washington Monday and is scheduled to undergo a physical on Tuesday. Bradway said he hadn't seen the offer sheet as of Monday.

Jets will then get the 13th overall from the Redskins. I was hoping the jets would not match either. Especially, the Morton one. Well, one less weapon for Chad.

They will get an impact player with that #13 pick though.

2 first round picks for NE, 2 First round picks for the Jets = Lots of rookies for Travis Henry to run over.

That Coles offer is flat out ridiculous. What's the signing bonus, $13 million??
