Ever since they traded Willis McGahee to the Baltimore Ravens (http://ravens.realfootball365.com/) just under a month ago, the Buffalo Bills (http://bills.realfootball365.com/) have been in the hunt for a new No. 1 running back. Frankly, McGahee's weak production from last year (990 yards and six touchdowns) shouldn't be that difficult to replace.

Right now, there are three backs on the market who have drawn interest from the Bills. In no specific order, the group consists of Chris Brown, Kevan Barlow and Michael Turner.

Brown visited with Buffalo a few weeks back and supposedly had the inside track on signing with the team, but he's been hanging in no-man's land since early March. Currently, his three options are to sign with either the Bills, Tennessee Titans (http://titans.realfootball365.com/) - with whom he's spent the first four seasons of his career - or Detroit Lions (http://lions.realfootball365.com/) .

The 25-year-old Brown, who is among the league's most injury-prone runners, is far from a franchise back. At best, he'd split carries with the Bills' current top RB, Anthony Thomas.

The market may be thin, but the number of teams looking for a #1 HB are even thinner.

Supply and demand - Chargers are going to attempt a raping, it's up to the Bills or whoever else is courting Turner to have the mace ready and counterstrike.
