All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

So Volek went from being the heir apparent to Steve McNair to the jockstrap holder of a much younger bluechipper.
Should've gone into FA when he had a chance.
In hindsight, yes he shoud have.
There were two things that worked against Volek:
1) He got more of a chance to show himself than Schaub, and with increased playing time he didn't play as well as he did filling in initially.
2) The guy got hurt a lot, like every time he got a chance to play. His history of injury lowered his value.
Ultimately he was dealt to SD for a 2007 6th round pick (#206). He is in the last year of his contract and will be a FA next year. He will face a training camp battle from Charlie Whitehurst, who the Chargers view as the backup for Rivers for the next several years.
Yeah, that guy signed back with the Titans thinking he was going to get the job and then they drafted Young. He took the safe route and it blew up in his face. I don't think we will hear from him much again.
