All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!

Re: Say the unthinkable happens like last year....
If they didnt take Cutler or Leinart last year; as bad as Losman was in 2005.. There is 0% chance they take a QB this year after Losman improved that much
Re: Say the unthinkable happens like last year....
unless we can pull what AJ Smith did with Manning and Rivers . The chances of that happening are slim to none.
We're better off taking a qb in the later rds. to compete with Nall Ball. Hell I woldn't mind Leak at all. Evans would sure love his deep throws if in case Jp went down.
Re: Say the unthinkable happens like last year....
BTW.
This is coming from someone who thinks Brady Quinn is going to be a Pro Bowl QB- and I think he'll be a better pro than JaMarcus Russell.
But Buffalo isnt taking him.
Actually, I think there is a very good chance if Clev doesnt take him at 3 (assuming Det doesnt at 2) he could VERY easily slip all the way to Miami at 9. Minn is said to have a hard on for LaRon Landry.

Any interest?
Brady Quinn is an average QB. If he slips past Miami at #9, he'll continue to fall all the way to either Baltimore at #29 or Chicago at #31.
Look who else after Miami doesn't have a promising young or established starter QB?
10. Houston - Schaub
11. San Francisco - A. Smith
12. Buffalo - JP
13. St. Louis - Bulger
14. Carolina - Delhomme/Carr
15. Pittsburgh - Big Ben
16. Green Bay - Favre/Rodgers
17. Jacksonville - Leftwich/Garrard
18. Cincinnati - Palmer
19. Tennessee - Young
20. NY Giants - Eli
21. Denver - Cutler
22. Dallas - Romo
23. Kansas City - Croyle (maybe)
24. New England - Brady
26. Philadelphia - McNabb
27. New Orleans - Brees
28. New England - again Brady 29. Baltimore - McNair getting old
30. San Diego - Rivers 31. Chicago - Grossman sucks
32. Indianapolis

I think Carolina, Jax, or KC would grab him first. Or one of the top 10 teams that passed on him would try trading back into the 1st to grab him.
I think he goes to Cleveland though, at 3. I don't think there's any chance he gets passed Miami if he falls that far.
