If they didnt take Cutler or Leinart last year; as bad as Losman was in 2005.. There is 0% chance they take a QB this year after Losman improved that much

unless we can pull what AJ Smith did with Manning and Rivers . The chances of that happening are slim to none.

We're better off taking a qb in the later rds. to compete with Nall Ball. Hell I woldn't mind Leak at all. Evans would sure love his deep throws if in case Jp went down.

He would make the #12 pick very tradable with Jacksonville, Kansas City, Carolina, or even a team in the top part of 2nd rd interested

But not very likely

Definitely try and trade down. Someone would have to be willing to give a lot at that point.

BTW.

This is coming from someone who thinks Brady Quinn is going to be a Pro Bowl QB- and I think he'll be a better pro than JaMarcus Russell.

But Buffalo isnt taking him.

Actually, I think there is a very good chance if Clev doesnt take him at 3 (assuming Det doesnt at 2) he could VERY easily slip all the way to Miami at 9. Minn is said to have a hard on for LaRon Landry.

Only if he drops to the second or third round.

Brady Quinn is an average QB. If he slips past Miami at #9, he'll continue to fall all the way to either Baltimore at #29 or Chicago at #31.

Look who else after Miami doesn't have a promising young or established starter QB?

10. Houston - Schaub
11. San Francisco - A. Smith
12. Buffalo - JP
13. St. Louis - Bulger
14. Carolina - Delhomme/Carr
15. Pittsburgh - Big Ben
16. Green Bay - Favre/Rodgers
17. Jacksonville - Leftwich/Garrard
18. Cincinnati - Palmer
19. Tennessee - Young
20. NY Giants - Eli
21. Denver - Cutler
22. Dallas - Romo
23. Kansas City - Croyle (maybe)
24. New England - Brady
26. Philadelphia - McNabb
27. New Orleans - Brees
28. New England - again Brady
29. Baltimore - McNair getting old
30. San Diego - Rivers
31. Chicago - Grossman sucks
32. Indianapolis

I think Carolina, Jax, or KC would grab him first. Or one of the top 10 teams that passed on him would try trading back into the 1st to grab him.

I think he goes to Cleveland though, at 3. I don't think there's any chance he gets passed Miami if he falls that far.

QB without an OL = No logic.

The problem with Brady Quinn is his struggle to throw to his left. If he gets into the right system he could be an effective quarterback, but I don't think the Bills run that system.

If Quinn drops to the Bills, let the bidding begin.

I would think it would have to be a consideration.

Charlie Weis called Brady Quinn a cross between Peyton Manning and Tom Brady.

QB without an OL = No logic. they will put both Green and Culpecker as crash test dummies while Quinn sits on the sidelines for next year.

I guess there is a reason that the teams needing a QB draft in the top ten and the teams not needing a QB draft in the bottom half of the round.

I draft him, then auction him (or even JP) off to the highest bidder. I am sure that Chicago, Baltimore, KC or Jack would more than compenstate us for our #12 pick

Miami is no longer run by moron... when a top QB mysteriously falls, you draft them. I don't care who you are. Marv was dumb letting Leinart fall. He took a big risk on Losman. Hopefully it pays off.

Well there is a very good chance that you are drafting one in the first.

Charlie Weis called Brady Quinn a cross between Peyton Manning and Tom Brady.

Oh what does Charlie Weis know. /sarcasm. And after last year, you can't say he won't be there at #12, but....he won't be there at #12.

But if he is.....I'd give it a though for about two seconds and pass. JP showed enough last season that I'd rather forge ahead than take yet another season to nurse a young QB.

Yeah i would snag BQ, i think this guy is gonna be a great QB in the NFL. the funny part would be which i know will not happen, what if AP and BQ are there at #12 who do we take. I like both them guys.
