Re: we get pats off bye again
And Miami after their bye."'Clean up your room.', 'Stand up straight.', 'Pick up your feet.', 'Take it like a man.', 'Be nice to your sister.', 'Don't mix beer and wine, ever.'. Oh yeah, 'Don't drive on the railroad track.'"
"Eh, Phil. That's one I happen to agree with."

Re: we get pats off bye again
Isn't that like 3 years in a row and 4 out of the last 5? Ridiculous.

Re: we get pats off bye again
What is bound to happen is that you might get a specific division opponent coming off their bye about one out of eight years. What is NOT bound to happen is that it will happen 3-4 years in a row.
What should NEVER happen is that any team plays multiple opponents coming off byes. But that screwing happens to Buffalo every year, too."'Clean up your room.', 'Stand up straight.', 'Pick up your feet.', 'Take it like a man.', 'Be nice to your sister.', 'Don't mix beer and wine, ever.'. Oh yeah, 'Don't drive on the railroad track.'"

Re: we get pats off bye again
Originally posted by OpIv37but it happens with way too much frequency for it to be coincidence. Considering we play the Pats twice a year and they only have 1 bye week, there is a 2/16 chance that we will get them coming off the bye. That's 12.5%. Now, for us to get them coming off the bye 2 years in a row, it's 2/16 x 2/16 which equals a 1.5% chance. Now, if you want to believe that a 1.5% chance is a mere coincidence, go right ahead, but the numbers point to something else.

New England plays Buffalo After Their Bye Week..Again
This is the 4th year in a row that New England plays Buffalo after their bye week.
What gives?
2 years in a row is a coincidence.
3 years in a row is unlikely.
4 years in a row is a conspiracy.
I really cannot believe it.
Other than that, I'm totally happy and confused with the Monday night game and the Thanksgiving game.
