Cleveland and Houston, and maybe Atlanta.

He doesnt fall to us because he's too good to last until pick #12.

Cleveland only has Jamal Lewis for 1 year, although they have a lot of needs and may choose to defer RB.

        Houston needs an RB.

Oakland could use an upgrade but if they want Peterson they should trade down- 1 is way too high. And like Cleveland they have other needs.

If Willis is gone, Peterson would be a decent pick but if Willis is on the board, we HAVE to take him.

also don't discount a trade up by a team with a more pressing RB need.

I'd throw Minnesota on that list of guys who can possibly pick him. Washington as well, just because they are Washington and Dan Snyder has probably heard of him.

There are other teams that would trade up for the opportunity to pick him if he slides.

I see this as the Dbrickashaw situation last year. we all found ways that he could possibly fall. had the jets passed and got a qb he probably would have. the fact of the matter is none of us know squat til april 28.

Don't be surprised to see Miami move down. They are clearly "rebuilding" and would probably want to stockpile as many picks as they can.

If by some miracle AP was on the board at 9, I wouldnt be surprised to see a team like GB or maybe even the GIants try and trade up for him.

Isn't it rare for a team to move out of the top ten?

That's a long way for the Giants to trade up from 20 to 9. They'd have to give up their 2nd AND 3rd as well to move that far. I doubt they'd dedicate the entire 1st day for one guy.

                        Depends on the draft.

This year the consensus is teams would like to trade down a little but not as many teams want to trade up.

What could be good for us, is if the Raiders take Calvin. Then Cleveland would possibly have two QB's to think about instead of Peterson.

I really don't think he gets past Cleveland though.

If he does, I would say Minnesota and Atlanta are the two others to worry about.

Houston maybe, but they just resigned Dayne and signed Ahman to a 5 year deal.

No way a top 3 player in the draft lasts until 12 though.

I bet Matt Leinhart and Aaron Rodgers would tell you differently.

I equate it more to a player like Reggie Bush falling to 12 last year or Ronnie Brown falling in 05 to 12.

I am not sure Leinart was a clear cut top 5 pick.

I dont remember a time when the top RB in the draft fell that far.
