I believe you are going to see the Sabres having to fight to keep Vanek. I know I have said it before, but I can see a team with cap money throwing a nice salary at Vanek and the Sabres won't be able to match. Maybe a team in the middle of the pack that needs a 40 goal scorer (maybe 50) to get them over the top. Maybe someone like Colorado where they could care less about the draft picks to get a future superstar.

I think you might see the Sabres keep Drury and Zubrus. I just can't see them keeping Briere.


And one other thing, can we please stop starting posts to bait people into reading them. Did this post really have to start out "Zubrus Sucks!!!"? If you need help with posting a title just ask and I will give you one.

At the Verizon Center after the Sabres-Caps game last Saturday, 2 guys were holding a big sign outside the arena which said "THANKS 4 ZUBRUS!"
