He is good and a part of this team. I would gladly take goose over Stafford right now. He is also the largest player on this team with some skill and he plays hard every time out. They will need a player like Goose for when they play a bigger and/or more physical team. I don't think we will need to worry. I'm sure someone will be dinged up by the time Gaustad is ready to come back. Plus, if we play Ottawa, I'm sure Paul will want to give Neal his regards.Comment

When Connolly gets back to his old self and is playing 100 percent, he is a waste of talent playing with Goose and Mair. Put Kotalik on that line or sit him.Comment

At the Pepsi Center goose always gets on the ice before the rest of the team. He just skates around and he needs help when walking. It is certainly nice to see him around though.Comment

I dont know if this would work, but what about sitting Mair, and putting Gaustad up with Druuuuury & Zubrus and move Kotalik with Timmy & Drew.

Apparently he basically told the drs. he'll be back this year, he's done nothing but rehab and he's way ahead of schedule. How can you not reward a player if he's ready who has worked that hard to get back?Originally posted by HHURRICANE
