Where Would Gaustad Fit?

When Gaustad returns where would the Sabres put him? Who do you sit in his place, Stafford, Mair, Kotalik???

Any ideas?

I was thinkking about this same thing last night. I would say probably Mair. He's the best hitter of the three, but he hasn't really made any huge hits so far. Kotalik isn't playing with as much effort as Mair, but he is still better offensively and can still throw the body. I would keep Stafford over Mair because he can hit and score.

Ummm, he made that nice in game 3 in our own zone and skate hard to the net and scored a goal...He and Zubrus are the only ones hitting consistently...I'd say maybe Stafford.

Mair would be out if I was making the decision. Too many dumb penalties.

We're not going to get through the entire post-season without some kind of injury, even if it's just a game or two. He can replace anybody who isn't able to go 100% and the lines can be shuffled from there.

Mair would be my odd man out, now if kotalik doesnt play up to par or we need muscle up against ottawa, or the ranger we can sub mair for al. Those lines look sick though.
