Linebacker is a funny position in this year's draft.
It seems the overall consensus is that this year's crop either have a first round "grade" or a third round "grade". Few if any LB's are projected as sure second rounders.
The Clear Cut First Round Grades: Patrick Willis, Jon Beason, Lawrence Timmons, Paul Posluszny (even with the Answer's mid third round grade).. Brandon Siler.
The Clear Cut Third Round Grades: Stewart Bradley, Rufus Alexander, Tim Shaw, Earl Everett.
The Wild card is David Harris. He's been projected by most as a second rounder, but lately some talk has centered around him creeping up into the first. Some think Siler may fall into the second round, but Indy at #32 is a strong possibility. Even if both these guys dont go in round one, they should both be gone before Buffalo picks at #43 in round two.
I'm sure I may be forgetting a LB or two, but generally speaking; LB looks like a first round or third round pick, especially for Buffalo. Don't see round two going to LB.
The exact opposite would be WR. There seems to be a good half-dozen WR's that will be on the board when round two starts (Rice, Hill, maybe Jarrett, Steve Smith, Gonzalez among them). Round 2 may be a target round for Buffalo with WR.
The Point: Buffalo either invests a first in Willis or Beason in round one, or they go after guy(s) like Bradley, Alexander or Everett in round three.
