Alan Branch Might Have Stress Fractures In Both Legs

A league source now tells Profootballtalk.com that SI.com's report about Alan Branch having stress fractures in both legs is accurate.
However, PFT notes that different doctors will give different medical opinions. We're not sure how this will affect Branch on draft day, but defensive linemen often tend to struggle with nagging lower leg injuries.

Dan Pompeii of the Sporting News says that Michigan DT Alan Branch has stress fractures which are causing him to fall in the draft.
Profootballtalk.com brings up a couple points that discouts the rumors, including that there was no medical follow-up for Branch after the Combine. He may just have shin splints. Branch seemingly could be drafted anywhere from sixth to late in the first round.

I dont think this is true, and as PFT states most all big men have shin splints.

Plus didnt Branch play almost every game?

By showed up, I mean being physically present.

                    This is true!!!!!

They are called shin splints. If you were a teenager to early 20's and have done any kind of sport than you have had them.

This is why I hate the media!!!!
