All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
There is work to be done and things to be learned. We are going to try to get the old look back - or something close to it. We also know there are bugs. A thread will be started to report bugs and then we can pass those onto the host.
Thank you for all the patience and support with this - hopefully this will greatly reduce the crashes and other site issues we have had lately.
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

Either the Bills are tipping their hand a little by proclaiming Crowell is moving inside and the 'backer they get will be on the outside, or they're smoke-screening and plan on keeping Crowell where he is and will target MLB in the draft.

we'll trade down for Harris or something - we'll end up with both Lynch and Harris.
that would make me happy.
or possibly Meachem and Harris
I think Robert Meachem is a darkhorse pick at 12, thats a very very interesting pick possibility. I think its remote, but you could make a case if you felt our other needs can be met.

Smoke screen!! Smoke Screen!! I'm not even listening to the front office until after draft day. god only knows what they're trying to pull.
Wake up, brush your teeth, and get ready for a day of hating the Dolphins. Or the Pats? How to choose?
"But isn't it a secret?"
"You have no idea how secret."
"Why are you telling everyone?"
"It's a smoke screen?"
"What?!"

I dont see how Willis wouldn't be the first LB taken in the draft. Not only were his post-season numbers and work outs ridiculous, he was ALSO the most productive LB in college last year. So he has not only the track record, but the intangibles and numbers as well.
I still think SF is taking him as there are more DE and DT in the draft available in rounds 2-3 than LB's, especially for that 3-4 defense. Carriker or Jamal Anderson IMO would be the only two players NOlan would possibly take over him- but I think its going to be Willis.
And if he's on the board at #12, I think it will take LEvy less than 4 minutes to pick Willis.
Will not only be available but the Bills are gonna pass on him.
He hasnt necessarrily dropped, although us Bills fans probably hyped him up a bit. But a lot of mocks have him going in the 12-20 range.
And with as enamoured as Buffalo is apparently with both Beason and Poz I dont know man.....
I think most fans feel that way, especially the closer the darft get's. It's just anxiety. Willis is much better then Pos, he's more of a 3/4 ILB and you run the Tampa Two. I wouldn't be at all to upset if I was a Bill fan and we landed Beason. I think he will be the best LB in this class, he's faster then either Willis or Pos and he would fit better in the deep middle of the field then eitheir of the other two he has more range. Relax.

I agree, im not worried about it one way or another. I like Willis but I wouldnt be dissapointed with Beason.
This LB situation is looking more and more bleak by the moment. It doesn't look like we're gonna find a guy who can make an immediate impact in this draft. So, we've got a big ? at CB, we're short one LB and have no depth, and barring a miracle, a crap-tacular DL.
