The schedule isn't out yet but Adam Benigni of WGRZ Ch 2 news says that it looks like the 2nd round will start on Thurs. and the Sabres will play game #2 at HSBC arena Sat. 3:00 on NBC.

If they move up to 6th yes, if not it's going to be real close. In Round 1, teams have 15 minutes to make their choice and it's starts at noon. 15 minutes a position, 4 drafts an hour, 12 drafts in 3 hours, so we should be drafting at 3pm. Crap, houston we have a problem.

I was at the draft party at the stadium one year when the Sabres were simultaneously playing the Flyers in the play-offs. If I remember correctly, that was the 8-0 series clincher.

It doesn't really matter. I'll just flip to ESPN occasionally till the Bills are ready to pick. Right now the Sabres a little more important. I guess if they have to play on Saturday I'm glad it's in the afternoon so I can start my binge drinking earlier in the day.

I was actually looking forward to it too the more I thought about it. NFL Draft and a Sabres game, does it get any better than that? I can live with Wed and Friday though. Plus, we struggle on Saturdays anyways. :up:
