PATS TARGETING HARRIS?

A league source who is preparing for the draft as aggressively as anyone tells us that the Patriots will select inside linebacker David Harris with the No. 28 pick in the draft.

"Write it down," said the source.

Okay. We have.

Yeah, he'll probably suck playing behind stiffs like Seymour, Wilfork and Warren.

This grabs my attention when ever I read it about Harris:

Over the past two seasons, Harris has made remarkable progress on the football field. He entered the program with great promise, but suffered an anterior cruciate ligament tear in his left knee during the second game of his freshman year (against Houston in 2003) and it took him more than two years to recover from surgery.
Harris would culminate his career by earning All-American second-team honors and share The Bo Schembechler Most Valuable Player Award with tailback Mike Hart. The coaches cite his consistency in shutting down the inside rush lanes as the main reason the Wolverines would lead the nation in rush defense, allowing just 43.38 yards per game, the lowest season total by an NCAA Division I-A team since the 1993 University of Arizona defense gave up 30.1 yards per game.

I dont dis like him...but connect a thought to it instead of just posting it......i 100% agree with you and i will from now on but normally i am just too lazy to do that and just post the info to start conversation and then later post my opinion.....my opinion on this is that it can't possibly be true because LB is definetly not one of their top needs but the Pats are known for picks like this so it wouldn't surprise me too much....he would fit much butter in a Cover 2 system like the Bills and I see him going to a Cover 2 system like maybe the Bucs but of course I wouldn't be surprised if we took him

That team (NE) is one injury away from 4-12.....and the Bills will cause it this year...those player you mentioned are getting long in the tooth....

Those players I mentioned are 27 (Seymour), 26 (Warren) and 25 (Wilfork) years old. Their top backups are 28 (Jarvis Green) and 25 (Mike Wright).

DL is easily the strongest position on the Pats team. Their DL is among the league's best.

I'm actually surprised at how ill-informed your comment was on this matter.

I dont dis like him...but connect a thought to it instead of just posting it...... Him posting it implies that he thought new england taking harris would affect the bills draft. I see your point, but you have to admit to post the stuff he does he has to hit about 10 to 15 football sites an hour. Gives you something to talk about compared to the same old crap that seems to come up over and over.
