    ESPN/Sportsnation updated Mock

This one was based on fan voting by region, but Patrick Willis falling all the way to #25????????

Who will each team pick in the first round of the NFL draft? Vote now!

    ORDERPICKPOLLS
    1. Raiders

    On The Clock

Selection: JaMarcus Russell, QB Jeremy Green says: "Even though the best available player in the draft is WR Calvin Johnson, it would be hard to justify the Raiders not taking JaMarcus Russell. The Raiders have a glaring hole at the QB position and even though he may be running for his life, Russell has the physical tools to step in and play right away."

California picks Russell Scouts Inc.'s top needs
    1) QB
    2) DT
    3) OT/G
    4) TE
    5) WR

    2. Lions

    On The Clock

Selection: Brady Quinn, QB Jeremy Green says: "Even with Calvin Johnson still on the board, the Lions would be wise to follow SportsNation's advice and take Quinn. He would give them a young franchise QB to build around."

Michigan prefers Joe Thomas Scouts Inc.'s top needs
    1) QB
    2) ILB
    3) CB
    4) TE
    5) S

    3. Browns

    On The Clock

Selection: Adrian Peterson, RB Jeremy Green says: "SportsNation, I have to disagree. The Browns have to take OT Joe Thomas here. Their offensive line has been a disaster since coming back into the league. Thomas, along with free agent Eric Steinbach, would give the Browns a left side that can dominate for years to come."

Ohio likes Peterson Scouts Inc.'s top needs
    1) CB
    2) QB
    3) LOT
    4) DL
    5) S

    4. Bucs

    On The Clock

Selection: Calvin Johnson, WR Jeremy Green says: "The Bucs would be ecstatic if Johnson is on the board. They would get the best player in the draft and he fills a huge need with an aging Joey Galloway and underachieving Michael Clayton as the Bucs two top receivers."

Johnson easy choice for Florida Scouts Inc.'s top needs
    1) WR
    2) DT
    3) S
    4) DE
    5) CB

    5. Cardinals

    On The Clock

Selection: Joe Thomas, OT Jeremy Green says: "This would be a dream pick for the Cardinals. They would get their franchise tackle in Thomas, who replaces the departed Leonard Davis. Thomas is the second-best player in this draft (behind Calvin Johnson) and is a steal at No. 5."

No doubt in Arizona: It's Thomas Scouts Inc.'s top needs
    1) OT
    2) WLB
    3) CB
    4) DT
    5) DE

    6. Redskins

    On The Clock

Selection: Gaines Adams, DE Jeremy Green says: "Washington would like to trade down here, but if they are here they get the best player available to them in DE Gaines Adams. He gives them the pass rusher they lack and will have an immediate impact."

Adams also the choice in D.C. Scouts Inc.'s top needs
    1) DT
    2) DE
    3) G
    4) S
    5) CB

    7. Vikings

    On The Clock

Selection: Ted Ginn Jr., WR Jeremy Green says: "This is a reach for Ginn Jr. Yes, the Vikings need a WR, but this would be a need pick over value. Ginn Jr., despite the great speed, does not have great size and there are durability concerns. LaRon Landry is a much better pick here. He is a big-time playmaker who can improve the entire Vikings defense."

Minnesota likes Ginn Scouts Inc.'s top needs
    1) WR
    2) DE
    3) CB
    4) TE
    5) C/G

    8. Falcons

    On The Clock

Selection: LaRon Landry, S Jeremy Green says: "In Landry, the Falcons would get the best player on the board left and he fills a big need. He is the most complete defensive player on the board. He excells in coverage and in run support and will provide instant leadership to their defense."

Landry's on Georgia's mind Scouts Inc.'s top needs
    1) S
    2) DE
    3) OT
    4) CB
    5) G

    9. Dolphins

    On The Clock

Selection: Levi Brown, OT Jeremy Green says: "While Miami has many holes to fill on both sides of the ball, none are bigger then the holes on the offensive line. Brown is a solid pick who will start from day one at right tackle, with Vernon Carey moving back inside to offensive guard."

Florida likes Brown Scouts Inc.'s top needs
    1) OT/G
    2) QB
    3) DL
    4) CB
    5) TE

    10. Texans

    On The Clock

Selection: Leon Hall, CB Jeremy Green says: "Don't be surprised to see the Texans potentially go WR here. They gave up a lot for QB Matt Schaub and he does not have enough weapons around him. Hall is also a great fit, though. He would start opposite Dunta Robinson, which would move DeMarcus Faggins back into his more natural role as the nickel corner."

Texas agrees on Hall Scouts Inc.'s top needs
    1) CB
    2) WR
    3) S
    4) DT
    5) OLB

    11. 49ers

    On The Clock

    Selection: Dwayne Jarrett, WR
Matt Williamson says: "Even with two wide receivers already off the board and this clearly being San Francisco's biggest need position, this is very early for Jarrett. Wide receiver certainly is not the 49ers' only need and there are good ones to be had in round two. Prototypical 3-4 DE Adam Carriker from Nebraska or ILB Patrick Willis would have been my selection at this point for the Niners and both players presented much better value. Jarrett struggles to get off the line of scrimmage and this will be a big problem for him early on in the NFL. This isn't to say that Jarrett may not become a fine pro receiver in time, but taking him here is too early considering the circumstances."

California tabs Jarrett, too Scouts Inc.'s top needs
    1) DT/DE
    2) OLB
    3) S
    4) OT
    5) WR

    12. Bills

    On The Clock

Selection: Marshawn Lynch, RB Matt Williamson says: "Lynch makes a lot of sense for Buffalo with this pick. He is a do-it-all type of running back who can be a three-down guy for the Bills right away. Although they have several needs, none are greater than running back, as they do not have someone on their roster who resembles a No. 1 back. Ole Miss ILB Patrick Willis would have been the other logical selection for the Bills, but J.P. Losman needs a supporting cast and Lynch should provide exactly what he needs from the running back position."

Lynch edges Willis in N.Y. Scouts Inc.'s top needs
    1) RB
    2) CB
    3) OLB
    4) TE
    5) DE
