The Buffalo Sabres announced plans Tuesday night for an "expanded Party in the Plaza," but those plans mean no more beer for fans.
The pre-game "Parties in the Plaza" outside of the HSBC Arena begin again Wednesday night before game one of the Eastern Conference Semifinals against the New York Rangers.
The Sabres say Perry Street will now be closed from Washington Street to Illinois street to expand the event.
Also new for the second round of the playoffs, beer will no longer be served at the parties and fans will not be allowed to bring coolers or chairs.
