    Redskins Shopping Springs........... Again

The Redskins have reportedly offered DB Shawn Springs to Detroit.
The 'Skins are eying Calvin Johnson, but Springs alone surely isn't enough to move up four spots in Round One. They likely couldn't get to No. 2 even by offering Springs and the rest of their depleted draft.

I think Daniel Synder just likes to hear the Redskins being talked about.

Redskins will need to throw in their #1 in 2008 for any chance at Calvin Johnson

If Redskins offered #6, CB Springs, and 1st in '08......Lions would really need to think about it because they could get one of the players they would draft at #2 at the cheaper #6

Springs is aging, overpaid and can't stay healthy. He has no value in trade.

In Snyder's mind, he's a prime addition to any team. I'm sure it puzzles him that Detroit isn't willing to part with the #2 pick and throw in their 4th forhim too.
Good riddance Fairchild. Of course, the knowledge of your departure will only make TE more hateable than the typical Bills QB. Good luck, hope we don't mess you up like JP.

see, i am surprised that detroit got as much as they did for dre' bly, since to me, he is aging and idk if i am biased, i just never thought he was an elite cb.
