They will draft Adrian Peterson. A RB will get you more wins than a QB. They will bank on Charlie Frye doing better, and the 1-2 punch of Lewis and Peterson. Just like Ronnie Brown and Ricky Williams. Took Miami from 2nd overall to 16th overall. If the Browns' FO want to live past 08, they will draft Peterson.
If Phil Savage and Romeo Crownell want to buy time

Re: If Phil Savage and Romeo Crownell want to buy time
SI.com's Don Banks says the Browns are "locked in" to Brady Quinn with the third pick of the draft.
He says the owner, GM, and coach are in agreement. And no one will remember if Banks was wrong when we find out for sure on Wednesday.

Id reckon ol' Romeo and Savage are not exactly in a position to bargain given both thier track records.

Originally posted by camelcowboyThey are enamored with JMarc because savage has known him since he was a freshmen in highschool. Ownership has stated that they want a qb drafted with the first overall pick. " Heard this many times on NFL network and Radio"
Browns owner Randy Lerner made a mistake by reportedly telling Channel 3's Ramona Robinson that he would like to use the team's No. 1 draft pick on JaMarcus Russell, the quarterback from LSU.

Re: If Phil Savage and Romeo Crownell want to buy time
I personally would rather see the Browns take Quinn. Not because I think that Buffalo has the slightest chance in taking AP, but that I cant see Quinn as being a bust and would HATE seeing Miami take him to see him turn into the next great quarterback in the league, leaving us yet again with a good qb but for some reason the worst of the division
