    Briere's contract

Anyone know how long it is? I want to get his jersey but really don't want to get it and then he leaves in a year (already happened to me w/ Peca way back when) I know there is no guarantees but I'd feel better if he had at least 3-4 years on it....

    Thanks!

He's a UFA this year, unfortunately.

he will most likely be gone, unless they don't resign drury.

Don't buy one...after the season, he's as gone as Nate Clements.

Not necessarily, I've posted this before, he said this when he was going through arbitration he said that he would take a paycut if he could get a long-term deal done! He wants to stay and I think he will if we win the Stanley Cup!

Briere Already Said, he wants Long Term Over Big Salary Numbers.

This year just proves he isnt a fluke,

Sign him for 5 or 6 years... 4 Mill-5 mill

if he does that I'd have a hell of a lot of respect for him.

I will say that if this is going to happen in any sport, hockey is the most likely. Still has the fewest a$$holes of any major sport.

And if he signs, I'm all over a VINTAGE Briere home jersey.

I still loathe, hate, despise the slug. Ugh.

the playoffs have shown why it is imparative that they resign Drury and Vanek...there just will not be enough in the vault for Danny.

and as cold as it sounds if they win it all I will wish him all the luck as I open the door for him....genuinely.
