4 penalty minutes and a -3. Not to mention getting knocked on his ass a bunch of times. I'm thrilled to see how well he backs up his mouth.

People wanted to dress peters for this clown. Once again when this series is over the only thing ill remember about avery is the hottie he's dating.

He can't hit what he can't catch.

seriously, though, the guy's a little punk *****. He doesn't play or hit full speed- all he does is when he gets a chance to hit someone, he lines up so he can get a full push. It's pretty pathetic- he's just trying to instigate a retaliation, and for the most part, the Sabres didn't fall for it.

I'm glad Spacek hit him in the face, even if it was a stupid penalty that negated a PP.

I had to laugh when they put him on the PP. He isn't a scorer, why is there? They have no one else?

reminds me of Matt Barnaby...great little rat you might want on your team but when he is on the other side you see the liabilities.

I loved how he was knocked on his ass almost every single time he had the puck. It was great. The Sabres made him their *****! :snicker:

Find one goon that has won a series for a club. Look at Pittsburgh trading for Larocque, there was a difference maker. If a team that has balance with 4 lines is attacking, other clubs must play back on their heels or join the attack - either way the Rangers don't matchup.

After we win the first three games, then dress Peters to whip his ass in game 4.

Actually he got under the skin of Kolvuchuck and Tkchuck in the Atlanta series and got them off there game. Shame on Hartley not getting them back on there game. Not saying he was the reason the Rangers won but he did help.

I loved how VS at the end of the game showed all the times Avery got knocked down or missed a check. A highlight real in itself. Really made him look like a boy among men.

Goaltending was the difference in the Atlanta series. Hartley gave up on Lehtonen (great name for a goalie)
