Mike Mayock's Draft scoop....

He's on Mike and the Mad Dog right now and he said that a couple things are happening. First thing, the Lions desperately want Gaines Adams....NOT Patrick Willis. They are looking to trade down and if they don't, they might even take Adams at #2 overall. Next, the Cleveland Browns owner is basically forcing Crennel and Savage to pick between 3 guys....and that's it.....

1. WR Calvin Johnson - Georgia Tech
2. QB Jamarcus Russell - LSU
3. QB Brady Quinn - Notre Dame

Darrelle Revis is rising in the draft and has jumped over Leon Hall. Marshawn Lynch is sliding down the draft and if he isn't selected by the Packers, he could fall to the end of the 1st round. Oh and Mike Mayock has Dwayne Bowe as the 2nd best receiver behind Johnson.

Nothing but good things to say about Jon Beason. I'd be thrilled to get this guy.
yup, he was praising Beason and said that he believes he will have anywhere about 90-100 tackles in his first season. :up:

Either did I, that's why I thought this was big news. Oh one other thing about Peterson...the Cardinals are desperate for Joe Thomas, but if he's not there, they most likely would take Adrian Peterson.

No problem. I was watching it because I wanted to hear what they'd say about the Rangers game and the one moron said that if the Rangers lose game 2, they could still win the series. I don't see that happening.

that's what I'm saying. We could totally miss out on Willis, draft Beason at 12, and all will not be lost. Beason could be Lance Briggs in a year or two.

I dont know when his mock gets published, but I'd be willing to bet he has the Bills taken Beason at 12, with Reevis as the other possibility.

IF we lose out on Willis I will be aggravated we didnt move up two stinking spots and give up pick #92 to get him.. If Denver gives them more, then I gota take my hat off to Houston for a good trade and I'll live with Beason.

If we take Reevis, it would probably take me at least 24 hours to comprehend any thoughts.. IF we draft Hall, it will take me about 24 seconds to stab someone in the leg.
