I hope you are right. (since we're out of Turner sweepstakes '$' and I'd bet my life that Turner is off the board, and since we aint moving up for AP for one big reason NOBODY talks about on here ($$)- I now hope we draft Lynch.

as bad as this sounds, picking the good character player is getting to be a trendy thing. Before the trend it seemed like the Patriots were always known in picking up good character guys via FA and the draft, if they picked Meriweather, would that be going against their philosophy?

On a side note, I'd hate for the Pats to get Meriweather because I think that guy is ready to suit up and play an NFL game right now, bashing people with a swinging helmet not-withstanding.
