Trades are a lot easier to talk about than they are to get done. That's somwething that draftniks don't ever seem to understand when they toss trades around like candy--it just doesn't work that way in the NFL where money considerations and other things factor into what teams want and are willing to give up in trades.

The Jets give up their 1st, 2nd and 5th for Carolina's 1st and 6th. That's a steep price to pay for any player at this point, especially a Cb, if that's what they end up taking. We're not looking at a Deion Sanders here (at least I don't think).

The Steelers got a good replacement for Porter once Timmons matures. Harrell could be a good pick if he recovers fully from his biceps injury, but could also be a less than great pick. I'm not sure how good of a pick this is for them at this spot, though. I think that they wanted Lynch as much as most of us wanted Willis and had to settle for something a little different (I'm happier at this point as a Bills fan that we got Lynch than I would be if I were a Packer fan and my team just ended up with Harrell).

I'm not sure that Jarvis Moss was worth the price, but the Broncos got a pass rusher who could be a good one if he stays healthy and gets better against the run. Glad they didn't take a LB here.

IMHO Cincy did really well to get Leon Hall at this point in the draft. I wouldn't have taken him at # 12, but he's a good value and fills a need for them here.

Excellent value for him and we get a LB that can play from day 1. Look at the difference in what we paid here at 34, as opposed to Cleveland paying next year's 1st rounder plus this year's 2nd to move to 22(for B.Quinn)...both were about 10 spots up.
