All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
There is work to be done and things to be learned. We are going to try to get the old look back - or something close to it. We also know there are bugs. A thread will be started to report bugs and then we can pass those onto the host.
Thank you for all the patience and support with this - hopefully this will greatly reduce the crashes and other site issues we have had lately.
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

I would rather have traded a 2nd and something else for Turner, then used our 1st on Willis........but Willis was already gone.
Lynch will be a very good back for us. I think all in all we've got to be happy with the fact that we put an elite prospect in one of our two major holes......and there are a number of linebackers left.
Tennessee just picked michael griffin, so apparently they didn't think Turner for the first and whatever it'd cost to sign him was worth it either.
Wake up, brush your teeth, and get ready for a day of hating the Dolphins. Or the Pats? How to choose?
It's not just the draft picks that it would cost, but the money and whether the player is interested in playing for you. According to an article posted on the BZ front page, Turner wanted more money than the Bills were offering and his agent made it clear that Turner would not come down off his demands for Buffalo the way he would for some other teams. So, I have to question whether he really would have been happy playing for the Bills. I'd rather have a kid who is motivated to play for the Bills than one who might not be, no matter how much talent he has--we've all seen how that kind of thing can work out for a team, haven't we? It's not even about the money (negotiations are negotiations, teams always start low and move up, etc.), but, if a player's agent told me that he would not come down on his demands for my team the way that he would for some others, I wouldn't want that guy on my team. So, it's easy to say, "Oh, we should have got Turner because he's more talented, yada yada yada". But there's more to it than just that.
Those who do not learn from the past are doomed to repeat it. And, thus it was that they surrendered their freedom; not with a bang, but without even a whimper.
