These guys landed both Thomas and Quinn.

Wow thats pretty impressive. :bf1:

Of course Russell will still be a bust

quinn is overrated in my opinion but if he pans out, holy crap what a draft.

They gave up alot to get Quinn but he's worth it. Thomas doesn't look like such a bad pick now with Quinn on board.

Yeah right!...They just gave up their next years first...

Yes that's a nice draft, but remember they gave up their 2nd as well as next year's 1st for him. So they got 2 players in 3 picks of 2 years.

We did the same thing with Losman only Quinn is better.

I agree. Quinn is a better prospect then Russell imo. I mean I understood why he fell so much after the Fins debunked their pick but jeez. What a good job.

I agree with Devin, great moves.

I don't have words to describe how absolutely livid I am with the Browns FO right now. Terrible draft. Draft a tackle over a franchise RB when you already have Tucker and Schaeffer and the possibility of Steinbach moving over anyways...Then give up the farm on a BUM QB who can't beat top college teams? It's nice beating up on Army and Navy and all, but when you're forced to play a Ravens D twice a year that makes any college team look like pee wee football, good luck.

Expect Quinn to throw 20+ INTs

Oh yeah, and way to give up next years number 1, when you have Jamal Lewis on only a one year contract. Excellent. My hats off to the Cowboys for acquiring a Top 5 pick next year.

Devin

Yeah I guess giving up potentially a high 1st in a big time RB year next year maybe risky. I see your point.

Can I tell you how funny it is that we passed on both Leinart and Quinn with you being such a JP Hater.

How many posts did you have with Quinn in them. He ended up being there and we didn't take him. Awesome.

A five story building might not be high enough. You better go up to the seventh floor.

The future will look bright after Cleveland goes 4-12 and Savage and Crennel are both run out of town. Leaving a crap team, again, for another poor HC and GM...who won't even have a first rounder next year.

Where's the excitement in being a Browns fan?

It doesn't bother me. What will be sad is if Quinn, Leinart, and Cutler go on to have great careers and JP becomes a bust.

The Bills will be picking high again next year and they will have a chance at another QB that could be better than Quinn.

You have to remember Im a Bills fan. There hasn't been much to be excited about in 6 years.

Yet again, Dallas ***** slaps Cleveland.

That trade sucked balls for the Browns.

Mr. Pink

I didn't hear terms of the trade on this one...I do like the guy selected though, this time.

Dallas gets 3rd, 4th, 6th,

Cleveland gets 2nd, 6th

not quite as bad as the Quinn deal...I can live with that for Wright. Especially seeing he wouldn't have been there at their next pick.

My only concern would be that whole thing about him trying to give an 18 year old pills or something like that.

ESPN just reamed Wright a new one over 'character issues' from his time at USC.

You must spread some rep before giving it to gr8slayer again....hate that.

I have no problem though with the alleged rape seeing charges were dropped anyways. He was found to be an honor role student over at UNLV and talent wise he's up there with Reevis and Hall. His character concerns dropped him. So I'm happy with the pick, hey, ONE OF OUT THREE ain't bad!

Yeah, hopefully someone like McGinest can keep him in line if he starts to get out of line but I doubt he will be an issue.

He may have screwed up once but at least he isn't a repeat offender.
