    Alan Branch....

    His coloring book and food fetish seems to have cost him....what the hell happend? He was supposed to be top 10.

    I think I remember also hearing something about him having shin splints in both legs- that probably didn't help. I hope his mom bought him new coloring books for his recuperation.

                Mike Mayock absolutely trashed Branch on WFAN's Mike and tThe Mad Dog radio program the other day, basically saying that he was fat, lacked stamina and was unproductive. Mayock said he had Branch rated as no higher than an early second round pick. I would assume that Mayock makes up his board based on what he has seen from the boards of teams that he has some inside connections with or what their scouts have told him about certain players. Branch only had 25 tackles for Michigan this season--that's not a lot for a guy who is supposedly an absolutely dominant player, so it could mean that he really wasn't as good as his reputation.
